COMMUNITY CENTRE
This project explored the detailed construction design of a new community centre for the imaginary coastal town of Pacific Beach. Based on a provided sketch design, the task was to develop and document the construction methodology, structure, and envelope for a double-height community hall with ancillary spaces such as lounge, meeting rooms, kitchen, admin, and services. The site’s seaside location and small-town context informed material and framing decisions, with an emphasis on practical, economical construction suited to regional settings.
