Situated within a forest landscape in Dwellingup, the project explores architecture as a lightweight framework for observation, research, and environmental learning.
A series of structures moves carefully through the landscape, elevated lightly above the ground and arranged between existing trees.
Echoing principles outlined by Hromek (2023), the design embraces adaptation, movement, and responsiveness to Country through a restrained palette of timber and polycarbonate.
“Resist the urge to straighten, flatten, organise.”
