Developed for SuperStudio 2023, the proposal reimagined Frank Gibson Park as a flexible civic landscape designed to support everyday social connection and community participation.
Rather than treating the site as a singular event space, the design introduced a network of interconnected zones for gathering, rest, performance, play, and informal occupation.
Existing level changes were used to create amphitheatre seating and terraced landscape moments, while looping pathways and planting strategies encouraged movement and interaction across the site.
The proposal explored how underutilised suburban spaces might become places of belonging — supporting both organised community events and quieter forms of daily use.
